I found a great charm site on Etsy and the clearance rack and Michael’s and went a little overboard. I’m going to order some smaller rings and I need more ear wire but once I’ve got that, I should be able to create some very cute necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.
Charms include: owls, cupcakes, arrows, owls in love, ‘freedom’ handcuffs, pirate flags, flying pigs, fairies, birds, angel wings, crowns, elephants, guitars, and hearts. There’s more but that’s all I could think of off the top of my head.
And no, I don’t have Sheldon Cooper’s memory. I was in the container last night looking for a clasp. (If you don’t know who Sheldon Cooper is, finish reading this entry, tell all your friends, and then go watch Big Bang Theory.)
One of the things I want to make is a flying pig charm bracelet. The chain would be pink and blue which should complement the silver of the pig charms. I’m also planning some steampunk awesomeness since I discovered gears at the craft store. I took a pair of earrings for a test drive and encountered a minor difficulty. I should be able to fix it but I need the smaller rings to test my theory.
